ART ASSISTANT
Rockstar North, Edinburgh
(June 2009- August 2010)
Whilst at Rockstar I worked on 2 triple A titles for the PS3. I had a varied role and my responsibilities included art production support, game optimisation, 3d modeling, UV wrapping & texture creation as well as compiling asset packs as part of the outsource team. I started with little experience using 3ds max and Rockstar took the time to train me from scratch. I learned a huge amount in the time I worked there and was surrounded by incredibly gifted artists.
ART DIRECTOR
Madrina Films & Head First Films
(Oct 2008)
I was Art Director for Marisha Mukerjees short film, Meat Watch. I was in charge of a 4-5 man team. I had input into the script. The budget was small which meant that I had to be resourceful and creative when making and sourcing items for the shoot. I also kept the books for the art department.
PROP MAKER, Art Department
Haphazard Films
(Nov 2008)
I made and designed props for Naysun Alae-Carews short zombie film, Tape 02. Props included actor friendly weapons, such as foam baseball bats, prosthetic limbs and blood squirting rigs.
